Itinerary

Your day will start early since early morning is considered one of the most excellent times for bird watching. A private car will drive you to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park from your hotel and it is a 30 to 45 minutes’ drive from Central Kathmandu. The scenery is very panoramic en-route with scenic countryside and lush greenery.

Upon arrival, the guide will brief you on the park’s biodiversity and key tips for spotting birds. It is here that your journey really begins as you enter into the dense forests, where melodious chirps from different species can be heard. Get your binoculars and cameras ready!

Go along with hidden trails inside the national park, where a guide assists in spotting birds and identifying the same. Some of the common sightings:
